Lloyd R. Huschka, 70, of Janesville died unexpectedly Sunday, February 1, 2015 at his home. Lloyd was born on April 24, 1944 in Janesville, the son of Robert and Doris (Moore) Huschka. He graduated from Janesville High School in 1962. Lloyd married Gloria J. Cassity on April 4 1964. He was employed in advertising and marketing by J C Penney and K-Mart. Lloyd was a well known organist and played church organ for 58 years in various churches, including Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church where he has played for many years.
Lloyd is survived by his wife of 50 years, Gloria J. Huschka, his daughter, Lisa (Bob) Harrie, his son, Clark Huschka (Kelli Laws) , his father, Robert Huschka, his sister, Gloria D. Huschka, his brother, Keith (Irma) Huschka, five grandchildren, Chad “Michael” Harrie, Craig Harrie, Tanner Harrie (Hillary Lund), Ceiandra Huschka, Adam Huschka, his mother-in-law, Dorothy Cassity, nieces and nephews. Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Huschka, his sister, Carol Huschka and his father-in-law, Wendell Cassity.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 2940 Mineral Point Avenue, Janesville. Pastor Cory Rajek will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of services at the church. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
